Birdgirl is a spin-off of the animated television series “Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law.” The series premiered in 2001 on Adult Swim. It was a superhero comedy that featured a Law Firm. However, it was crossed over with superheroes and characters from Hanna-Barbera productions. The series ran for four seasons and 37 episodes. It came to an end in 2007 after seven years of a successful run. In 2018, a special episode was released.
The title was “Harvey Birdman: Attorney General.” Seeing the response, the creators decided to launch a sequel series in April 2021. This sequel was Birdgirl. Micheal Ouweleen and Erik Richter created the “Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law” series in 2000. Seeing the response over the years and the 2018 special episode, they created the Birdgirl series. The series continues to be based on characters from Hanna-Barbera. Rich Ferguson-Hull was the director of the project. Moreover, Christina Miller joined the production development.
Paget Brewster had bagged the lead role, Judy. Rob Delaney joined the cast as Brian O’Brien. Kether Donohue was cast as Gillian. Sonia Denis took on the role of Evie.
