The title of the upcoming episode of Blue Period is “Wandering Knife.” The episode is going to look at the aftermath of the Tokyo University Exams. The final scene of the last episode revealed that Yatora had passed the exams with flying colors. Besides him, only two other students have passed all three rounds. Now that the protagonist has passed the first semester, Yatora might get the much-needed boost. All through the semester, the boy had been dealing with esteem issues.
The results will surely help Yatora get back his confidence. Blue Period Episode 9 will also touch upon the celebrations of his passing. A Quick Recap!
In last week’s episode of Blue Period, the first exams at Tokyo University began. The students were asked to create a self-portrait. They were also given a mirror to imitate images. However, a lady tripped over Yatora’s mirror and broke it. When he saw his image in the shattered glass, he got the inspiration to draw himself in a new light. After the exams ended, it was announced that the second round would want the judges’ vote to pass. And the final round would require the assessment of the dessin, oil painting, and the sketchbook.
Amid the exams, the students were taken to a museum for regular school trips. Yatora needed a break from the chaos. Thus, he went to Mrs. Ooba to discuss his performance in the upcoming exams. The teacher of the cram school told Yatora that he must focus on his work. Moreover, the exams are not the end of the world. By the end of the episode, the results are announced. The names of the passing students included Kuwana, Hashida, and Yatora.
