Using the Jutsu Transformation, Boruto captured Isshiki in a void dimension. This way, the power of the Otsutsuki was contained to a limited arena. The preview of the episode teased that the life span of the parallel dimension is not more than two days. Thus, Naruto and the team will have to destroy Isshiki in a limited time.

In Episode 215 of the Boruto anime series, the powered-up Isshiki easily defeated Kashin in a single blow. Later, when Kashin was lying injured on the ground, Isshiki showed him the mirror of his arrogance. Isshiki said that Amado betrayed both of them and he would kill him in cold blood when he met him.
