Nowadays craze for anime films keeps on growing, and Netflix is known for bringing such series/movies to viewers’ tables. One such movie is Bubble. It caught many fans’ attention. The movie has gained positive acclaim for its uniqueness and animation. But, Bubble anime movie is hit by plenty of criticism. There’s no denying that people like the concept. But there’s no denying that the movie appeared empty inside. So without wasting audience time, let’s take a look at what fans say about the Bubble anime movie.

The animation studio Tetsuro Araki, behind the first three seasons of Attack On Titan, directed Bubble. The movie is set in the near future in a world overcome by bubbles. An explosion at Tokyo Tower made the city uninhabitable. However, many youngsters denied the restrictions and lived there using parkour tournaments.

A young man named Hibiki belongs to Blue Blazes, a parkour team. One day he heard a woman’s song and decided to climb the Tokyo Tower. But due to gravity anomalies, he fell into the ocean. There his final exhale created a mysterious young woman. Hibiki named her Uta. After then, they both train parkour together.

Is Bubble Worth Your Time?

Well, the movie received a mixed response from the fans as well as critics. But let’s start with the good part. Many found Bubble incredible as every scene looked realistic and took fans on a stellar visual ride. No doubt, the animation was flawless, and we can’t overstate its beauty. Thus, if you are looking for amazing animation work, then Bubble is worth watching.

Why Didn’t Viewers Like Bubble?

Although Bubble’s animation was worth watching, many fans called the movie boring. A fan tweeted, “it has beautiful characters with good music, art, and action, but there’s something missing.” It didn’t connect with the heart. Another viewer tweeted that the music and beauty of images aren’t sufficient to portray a movie. Some called the movie “garbage-like work,” while some called it a complete “torture.”

Moreover, the movie lacks a script. Although it depicted everything well with great animation yet, there was no such storyline in the movie. Further, the concept of bringing Uta into this world remained in limbo. Many people stayed confused till the credit, wondering about Uta’s fate. But, the movie is quite amazing for parkour lovers.

Speaking about its narration, Hibiki’s relationship with Uta looked sweet, but it lacks a story. This is because they both only blushed and giggled throughout the movie. The narrative also failed to express the exact script. It heavily focused on a fairy tale kind of plot but failed to depict its exact source material. Further, the Bubble anime movie lacked emotional connection. Thus, fans believe Bubble anime movie isn’t worth spending their time deeming every parameter.
