Netflix is currently celebrating its Geek week. It announced Castlevania Nocturne, a spin-off series to its original Castlevania animation series. The producer Adi Shankar is back with a new set of characters to add a little twist to the plot of the series. The announcement from the OTT giant came in the form of a trailer. Originally the animation series was a descent from a Japanese game. The original series had vampires as the antagonist and vampire hunters as the protagonist. However, makers are introducing a new angle to this spin-off series. But before going into the detail, here is a little introduction to the previous Netflix original series!
The Netflix original series with the titular name was made under three production houses. The most dominant one of them is Shankar animation. Netflix started streaming this series on July 7, 2017. Castlevania Nocturne: Trailer Revelation!!
The live stream during the Netflix Gheek week revealed the trailer for Castlevania Nocturne. The trailer disclosed that Richter Belmont would take the place of Trevor and Sypha. Richter seems quite disturbed in the trailer. The voices of the Dracula King, his mother, and his father are going on in his head. He cannot resist them. It also revealed the look of the lead character in the trailer. In the first half, only the back portion of Richter was displayed.
However, the scream of Sypha forces Richter to move his face. Richter look ls very promising in the trailer. He is also carrying a hunter with blood slowly dripping from its end.

Story Details Of The Series
The spin-off series’ background is the France of 1792. This was the time of the French Revolution. However, the trailer hints that their parents of Richter might be no more. The cold expression of Richter at the end of the trailer confirms the speculation. Moreover, the series’ plot is made more interesting by introducing new beasts besides the vampires. The Dracula King is trying something big.
Moreover, he is trying to take Richter by the head. The storyline end will be very interesting, says a critic. The original series itself had great story potential. The upcoming spin-off series is also giving out the same vibe to fans. However, the cross on Richter’s shoulder is still a mystery.
