One of the biggest and better Shonen Jump manga series is returning with the highly-anticipated anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man. Well, the very beginning of the manga series drew readers’ attention. But the two-year hiatus left fans in a vulnerable state. Soon the manga series returned, and now with its anime adaptation, things are going to be pretty much fun as finally, they will be able to see their favorite characters in action. Inspired by Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga series Chainsaw Man was announced back in December 2020. MAPPA decided to bring fans’ favorite action-packed series into action. The first trailer was dropped on June 27, 2021, at the MAPPA Stage 2021. In the event, they revealed that Ryu Nakayama would direct the series while Hiroshi Seko would look after the scripts. Meanwhile, the entire series will air on Crunchyroll.
Chainsaw Man Anime Trailer: Official Announcement!
During MAPPA Stage 2021, the animation studio dropped the first clip of Chainsaw Man. Well, it was short enough to learn what would happen next. But as of now, the studio hasn’t revealed Chainsaw Man Anime Trailer. Fans were excited that the studio would come up with a new trailer for Anime Expo. But it never happened. However, in the recent stream, Crunchyroll staff members revealed that the new trailer would drop at 2022’s Crunchyroll Expo, which will be held in San Jose, California, from August 5 to 7th.
Chainsaw Man: What Will Happen Next?
It takes place where human fears give birth to Devils, who are evil and dangerous. Their power increases as much fear they incite. However, humans can use their powers and sign a contract with them. There is an evil Inc where people specialized in hunting and employing the devils known as Devil Hunters. Soon a young boy named Denji finds himself in the middle of this matter.
Denji works as a hitman for a mob. He lives with his strange-looking but a beloved dog named Pochita. However, he was working to acquire a roof over their heads, settle down with his girlfriend, and have three meals daily. Denji decides to summon Chainsaw Devil. He uses his powers and becomes incredibly stronger. Now in this world full of devils and people trying to acquire supernatural power, Denji works for himself and his lover.
Chainsaw Man Anime: Cast Updates!
As of now, the studio behind the anime series animation hasn’t revealed the cast details. However, it has revealed the staff list, so we can expect Studio MAPPA back on animating the series. Chief Executive Officer of Studio MAPPA, Manabu Otsuka will also join along with Rights Management Director and Executive Producer Makoto Kimura. Hiroshi Seko will handle the scripts, Kazutaka Sugiyama will design the characters, and Ryu Nakayama will direct the series. At the same time, the staff members of Crunchyroll revealed that the remaining staff members and cast members would be revealed at Crunchyroll Expo.

Chainsaw Man: Release Date
As of now, the Studio MAPPA has yet to announce the official release date of Chainsaw Man. But Crunchyroll has revealed that the first season of the popular anime series will start airing in 2022.
