Chainsaw Man Chapter 121 was titled “The Theory of Happiness.” As suggested by the title, most of the outing was about Denji discussing the meaning and outcome of happiness. In the opening scene, we see that Asa was hanging out with Yoshida. And these two were visiting the Devil Hunter’s Club. Yoshida suggested that these two share a cup of tea together. As the two were walking, Asa realized that she never saw Yoshida spending much time with anyone.
She was quick to come to the conclusion that he must feel something for her. This was the second time in the week that she was taking in such feelings. Later on, she went on to take up everything that he said as a hint. But Yoshida sensed this. As a result of this, he was upfront with her. He said that he was only spending time with her because he wanted her to move on from Denji. As a result of this, she went into a second heartbreak.
On the other side of the road, we see that Denji was sitting with Nayuta. Here, the lady was quick to understand that there was a devil’s presence near them. But none of them wanted to make the effort and check on it. In the last act of the chapter, we see that Asa was feeling disappointed once again. Within a week, she was lost in love almost twice. And this was something that she was not able to deal with at any cost.
What Will Happen Next?
Well, the last act of the previous chapter saw that there were some interesting new devils entering the scene. it was Denji and Nayuta who sensed that something was totally off around them. Nayuta said that a devil was surely lurking around them. As a result of this, he said that he would go and check. It now is more than obvious that a fight is about to take place around the place. Denji and Nayuta are to team up after a very long time.
And this dual fight will make up for most of the plot of Chainsaw Man Chapter 122. On the other side, we see a new Asa emerging every day.
