The fifth episode of Date A Live IV, titled “Fairy Tale,” started with Westcott using the power of Beelzebub. His plan was to use these powers and force the Spirits to play the parts of fictional characters from the manga that he had written. And now, in order for the Spirits to return back to the normal world, they had to turn into a character that was more powerful than any of them.
But the tables turned faster than any of them had been expecting. The spirits found and alternative version of Shido that was more powerful than the one that was already in the game. Using him, they were able to escape the game without any problem. Later in the story, the Spirits got back to the real world. The episode came to an end with the Fraxinus crew winning the game. And finally, Fraxinus was blasted off into space.
