But it is likely that she will pull her punches in the match. This is because the Upper Rankers have instructions from Muzan to bring the boy with the Hanafuda earrings alive. Hence, Tanjiro might be able to hold the fight until either Inosuke or Tengen arrives.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12: Plot Details!
The next episode of Demon Slayer is titled “Things are Gonna Get Real Flashy!!” The title already gives away the plot of the upcoming episode. It suggests that the next episode will be starting another round of the fight between the Demon Slayers and the Upper Ranking Kizuki. Tanjiro was challenged up ahead by Daki, the demon. Since Tanjiro and sense the slightest human and demon presence, he might be able to deduce that Zenitsu has been in contact with the Demon.
As the two of them fight, Tanjiro will face the power of an upper-ranking demon for the first time. Before this, he had only seen an advanced-level fight between Rengoku and Akaza. Afterward, Inosuke might also join Tanjiro when he finds his way back to the street. Meanwhile, fans can also expect to see Tengen get into a brawl with a smaller demon lurking in the shadows of the other houses.

Previous Episode Recap!
The 11th episode of Demon Slayer started with Inosuke trying to establish contact with Tanjiro. The two of them met, and Inosuke informed Tanjiro that he sensed a demon presence in the Ogimoto house. Soon enough, Sound Hashira Tengen tagged along with them. He told his juniors that Zenitsu had gone missing. When he was informed about the demon, all three of them decided to reach the Ogimoto house. But Tanjiro decided to reveal his true identity before leaving the Koinatsu house.
And so, Tanjiro and Inosuke met at the Ogimoto house. However, Inosuke finds that Tanjiro is taking way too long to reach the house. Thus, he decided to take matters into his own hands. As a result, he went inside the house all alone. Meanwhile, Tengen went inside the Kyogoku House to search for Zenitsu. Towards the end of the episode, the Upper Ranking Demon named Daki showed up in front of Tanjiro. While she was disguised as a mistress, Tanjiro immediately understood that the demon was an upper ranker.
