The last episode, ‘Defeating an Upper Rank Demon’ released on January 30. The previous episode has shown the fans about the Uzui family. However, despite the efforts of everyone, the episode ended with everyone in bad shape. After a surprise attack from Gyutaro, Inosuke gets stabbed, and the others get thrown off the roof. The next episode will show if Uzui and Insouko can survive and continue to fight.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 17 Plot Details!
In Episode 16, a flashback scene foreshadowed Uzui battling life and death. The next episode will address the cliffhanger and reveal if he is alive and kicking or in a dying state. After the exhausting battle from the previous episode, the demon slayers do not have a good chance of winning against the demons. However, they will continue to fight them despite their poor health. The next episode will show how Tanjiro and the others will regroup and end the upper-ranking demons.
The previous episode ends with Tanjiro vowing he will not give up. By the end of the episode, only Zenitsu and he seem to be in good health out of the four. Inosuke gets stabbed, and he may be poisoned, and Uzui is out cold on the floor. So, it will be up to Tanjiro and Zenitsu to develop a plan to turn the tides of the fight. As Daki is beheaded, now is the perfect opportunity to take down Gyutaro. Therefore, the next episode will show if the four heroes will come out successful or not.

Episode 16 of the popular anime starts with Uzui and Tanjiro facing the demon Gyutaro. After the helpful assistance from Hinatsuru, the two demon slayers get a chance to behead the demon. However, the powerful demon grows back his legs and fights back. He blocks their attacks before either of them could reach his head. The demon then reappears next to Hinatsuru, who is watching from the rooftop.
He threatens to kill her, but Tanjiro stops him. Tanjiro blends his water breathing and fire breathing technique to reach her and stop the demon. The two continue to square off but to no use. On the other hand, Inosuke has difficulty reaching for Daki and her neck. She uses her belts to stop the two from reaching her. In a desperate attempt to take down at least one demon, Tanjiro joins his two friends to behead Daki. The three come up with a plan to attack Daki from different directions.
Tanjiro and Zenitsu ward off her belts as Inosuke charges forward to behead her. Inosuke successfully cuts it off. However, Gyutaro reaches him and stabs him to take the head. The episode also includes a small flashback that clearly explains Uzui and his motives. The flashback shows Uzui mourning the death of his siblings and vowing to lead a flashy life for them.
