Well, we all know the Dr. Stone manga series concluded earlier this year, and it left fans in a disappointing state. Since then, fans have been clamoring to know more about the manga series. But it appeared as they would never hear about the manga series. However, Inagaki surprised everyone. Let’s take a look at what Inagaki has to say.
Dr. Stone’s manga series focuses on a 15-year-old prodigy named Senku Ishigami, who suddenly revived in a world with no traces of human civilization. However, he was determined to find what had happened in the past and how to cure everyone. After six months, his friend Taiju Oki woke up, and they discovered their revival was possible because of nitric acid. So now, they decided to develop a compound to revive others.
Dr. Stone: Official Announcement- More Chapters Ahead!
The most popular manga series concluded earlier this year, but Inagaki recently revealed that there are more to come. He tweeted Dr. Stone isn’t over yet. There will be more chapters to come. He has weekly serialized the chapters, which will soon hit the platform. The announcement was made soon after Yoshihiro Togashi revealed the new chapters of Hunter x Hunter. Togashi announced that four new chapters of the manga series are currently on work. However, Inagaki hasn’t revealed whether or not the manga series is currently in the works.
Dr. Stone: What Would Happen Now?
The final chapter took place several years ago, where Senku convinced Medusa parasites to help people on Earth navigate the science’s evolution. Gen worked on bringing the societies together. Yuzuriha and Taiju were married while Chrome was about to tie the knot with Ruri. The delay was basically due to their latest science project. Meanwhile, Senku and the others were working on a time machine.
Senku wanted to go back in time and save people from this epidemic. But the chapter ended on a cliffhanger note where the team was still working on the time machine. So we can expect that they will decide their next step. They might succeed in creating a time machine and go back in time to find the root cause of this epidemic. But they will face hurdles as convincing people to follow them won’t be that easy.
Dr. Stone: Release Date!
As of now, the author hasn’t revealed whether he has started working on the chapters. But he confirmed that the chapters would follow a weekly release pattern. So we can expect that Dr. Stone’s new chapters will release sometime in the fall of 2022.
