DBS release for the month of April is hyping up in the first week itself. The previous chapter did na incredible job of setting the stage for the fight between Bardock and Gas. But contrary to what readers had been expecting, the chapter did not bring back Goku’s father in the present. Instead, what we got was a flashback sequence explaining how Bardock and Gas’s fight started in the first place. Now, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83 will play the conclusion of this fight.
In the following chapter, the fight between Gas and Bardock will play a climactic part. Fans are hoping that both the fights from the past and the present will draw a parallel, and the end of Gas will be a reading fiesta.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83: What Will Happen Next?
Fans had been expecting that the fight between Bardock and Gas would play out in the present. In hopes that the father would return, fans thought that the battle of the past would be playing out once again. However, what they ultimately got was the fight of the past. During the events of the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Bardock was the only man who had managed to defeat Gas. The memories of that battle still haunted him for a long time.
Chapter 82 did not finish the entire fight once and for all. In fact, there is a lot that will be covered in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83. In the next chapter, fans will finally see how this fight will come to a conclusion. Moreover, the long-awaited death scene of Bardock is also expected to play out in this one.

The 82nd chapter of Dragon Ball Super started with the long-awaited flashback that all fans had been looking forward to. In the beginning, Goku was in his highest form. He used Instant Transmission to drag Gas from one planet to another. The first place he was dragged into was the Galactic Patrol planet, where a Tournament was taking place. Next was Monaka’s planet. Back home, Vegeta comes to notice that Goku was only buying them more time.
Here, Manaito also increased the process of healing as they wanted Granola back on the field. Goku and GGranola were now in the Galactic Prison. But before they could do much for them, Oil managed to trace Gas’ location. But Goku thought of playing mind games with his opponent. He said to Gas that even though he was the strongest, he still listened and obeyed whatever his elder brother said. On Planet Cereal, the other heeters were ready to attack Manaito as they wanted to stop Granola from healing.
The chapter then cuts to a flashback sequence showing a group of heroes coming out of Manaito’s house. Vegeta here finds an audio message that was from 40 years back. In the audio, Bardock could to heard calling Goku and saying to him, “survive, no matter what.” Towards the end of the chapter, the fight between Bardock and Gas continues to catch fire.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83: Release Date
As usual, the new Dragon Ball outing is set to come out on the 20th of this month. As the Saiyans continue to fight Gas, it will be interesting to see what is up Elec’s sleeves. So, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83 will release on April 20, 2022. Fans will find all the chapters of the manga only on the official pages of Viz Media and Shonen.
