Dropkick on My Devil X Anime is back with yet another season. After the last release in 2020, the makers didn’t take long to announce the third installment. The show focuses on Yurine, a witch who summons a devil. However, every action comes with consequences. Yurine is now sharing rooms with the devil. This renowned series is an anime adaption of a comedy manga series of the same name. It was written and illustrated by Yukiwo. The franchise has two seasons and seventeen manga volumes to date. It started airing in September 2018 under Studio Nomad. The series has been a huge success since then. The summoned Evil God, Jashin Chan, has tried several attempts to kill Yurine to get back to Hell. But, they have all gone wrong. Season 3 might bring a change for the Evil God this time.
Dropkick On My Devil X Anime: What Is The Plot?
The show focuses on a college student, Yurine, also a witch. One night, she calls for the Evil God from Hell, Jachin. The witch and the tsundere hell serpent are now roommates since neither is successful in killing each other. Jashin, however, is persistent in her need to return home. Thus, she tries every possible way to kill Yurine. Yurine, who is a skilled witch, turns Jashin’s tricks against her.
The last chapter of Season 2, “Chapter Chitose,” shows Yurine traveling to Chitose City for her love for their sweets. She comes with her devil roommate, Jashin-Chan. Whereas the other characters are seen having their fun. The duo takes frequent trips together, from visiting a city to a pachinko parlor. They do it all together. The series also features a number of other witches, demons, and angels. Dropkick On My Devil X Anime has a lot of hopes.
Who Will Join The Cast?
Alongside the two main characters, Nichika Oomori as Yurine and Aina Suzuki as Jashin-Chan, a long cast list is likely to come back for the next season. Miyu Kubota as Medusa and Yurie Kozakai as Pekola will doubtlessly appear again. Pino and Poporon will also show up. The voice actors are Marina Yamada and Rico Sasaki, respectively. Makers are yet to reveal any new additions.
The show works under Nomad Productions, with Hikaru Sato as the director. Makoto Koga acts as the character designer. Yuki Kurihara and Yuzuru Jinma handle the music area. The opening theme song “Ano Ko ni Dropkick” was an original piece by the voice actors.

Dropkick on My Devil X Anime: Release Date
After the end of the second season, the makers acquired donations through the ‘Hometown tax’ system. The crowdfunding campaign was to confirm the release of season 3. In a short span of 33 hours, the designated goal was reached. A fan paid a total of 1.1 million yen (about $10,000) for his favorite anime to return. He was then asked to name the first episode of the next season. Hence, the name “Drop Kick On My Devil! X.”
The third season though confirmed, a definite release date that is yet to be out. The campaign occurred in 2020, but according to the makers, fans have to wait till 2022. The year will also be the 10th anniversary of the original manga. So, an early 2022 or late 2022 is to look for. We will update the release section once that is out.
