The AnimeJapan 2022 event has brought more announcements than the ones fans were expecting in the JumpFesta. In the chain of much-anticipated releases, one anime that went under the radar was Extreme Hearts Anime. Shows like Ultraman, Golden Kamuy Season 4, and various others are stealing the limelight from underdog shows like this one. So, what was the latest announcement made by the panel of this series? For the fans unaware of the background of the anime, Extreme Hearts is a completely original anime series. The Sports fiesta is the creation of writer-director duo Junji Nishimura and Masaki Tsuzuki. This duo is most known for their esteemed work for anime Nonoha. First announced in May 2021, the anime is now looking at an early release window this season.
Extreme Hearts Anime: First Trailer Out!
The panel from the Anime Japan event unrolled the final release date for the anime. Along with this, they also presented the first-ever trailer preview video of the show. However, the team did back away from revealing the animation studio behind the project. So, the three-minute-long trailer showcases the synopsis of the sports story that we are about to enter this season. However, the first video was deprived of any animation. The video was only a compilation of images from the show.
What Is The Story About?
The official synopsis of the anime suggests that Extreme Hearts Anime tells the story of Hyper Sports that become popular amongst the young generation. Set in a futuristic time, the anime will tell the tale of young high schooler Hiyori Hayama who has no connections with such sports. But when she becomes a part of a friend group, she is also attracted to these activities.
Powered-up gear and enhanced sports equipment are the major takeaways of this story. Along with the reveal of the trailer, the makers also gave the green flag to the theme songs of the show. So, the opening theme song of the anime, “Infinite,” is a creation of artist Miho Okasaki. The makers are yet to reveal the animation studio and team members of the show.
Extreme Hearts Anime: Release Date
Even though many details of the show are still behind the curtain, the makers did confirm the final release date of the show. So, Extreme Hearts Anime will release in the Summer Slate on July 9, 2022. The anime will stream on Tokyo MX and BS11 networks in Japan. A digital streamer is yet to partner with the creators.
