Recently, the makers of Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045 anime released a new visual announcing the new follow-up movie of the franchise. The visual is essentially a poster of the film depicting the main character. The poster is designed and illustrated by character designer Ilya Kuvshinov. What Is The Film About?

After an apocalyptic economic crisis, all of the world’s currency, digital, and paper, ceased to exist.
This caused the Big 4 nations to decide that the world needed to go on a never-ending war in order to sustain the economies. Due to the war, the people will remain in a state of constant fear. Thus, the supply and demand chain will remain feasible. As a result, a team of secret super soldiers is selected to break this dystopian system of proxy wars.
Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045: Release Date
The official website of the anime has updated several details about the upcoming movie. Initially, it was announced that the follow-up film would be released in the winter 2021 slate. The makers have stood to the commitment and announced a winter release date. Thus, Ghost In The Shell SAC_2045 Jizokukanou will premiere in Japan on November 12, 2021. Furthermore, the makers have clarified that the movie will stream only for a duration of two weeks in the theatre. The US release date is yet to be announced.
