The mangaka has come up with 28 volumes up till now. The series soon got its anime adaption under Geno Studio and Brain’s Base and has released three seasons, with one upcoming up till now.

The tweet stated that Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamui is getting a movie adaption. Unfortunately, the post had no other details. However, the fans might soon get notified as the months go by. On the other hand, the makers are yet to state this as a piece of confirmed news. Thus, there might be a wait till the official announcement comes out.
The comments on the tweet have somewhat been positive. Considering the snowy foothills and the dramatic sceneries that the anime series is rooted in, the film might be a great effort to set foot in. However, anime watchers have never been huge fans of a movie adaptation. But, there might be much potential in this project. The lingering questions of how the bear scenes will be handled are arising. Some have suggested CGI, but it is up to the makers in the end. Moreover, the casting for the film has also been speculated among fans. All in all, the makers have a huge launch upcoming if this is true.
