Although neither the former plan nor the new plan is out in the public domain, there are statements from author Satoru Noda that tells us about the changes. In his public tweets, the man says that the changes were necessary for the closure of the story.
Moreover, the author also says that these changes are important in order for the story to get a deserving conclusion. Satoru states that the story will become twice as enjoyable after these changes.
What Will Happen In The End?
The Hakodate Arc, the 26th story arc of Golden Kamuy manga is deemed to be the final nail in the coffin. This story deals with the breaking of the titular curse. So far in the story, Asirpa made Sugimoto take the promise that he was going to keep the well intact with the gold. He also takes the word that he would never let anyone touch the treasure that was hidden in the depths of the well. So, Golden Kamuy Manga Ending will come on April 28, 2022. With the serialization of this chapter, the manga will conclude with the final 32 Volumes. As of now, the 29th Volume is yet to release in the west. This part is dated to release on April 19, 2022, in Japan.
