In the last episode of Season 1 of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Sotsu, Hanyuu and Eua were stuck in Hinamizawa. Hanyuu kept saying that some miracle would save them from the tragedy. This irritated Eua, and she punched the latter. Here, Rika decided to throw the Onigiri no Ryuuou sword in the water as it was to root cause of all the troubles. Later, the sword went within the river and emerged again from the sky. As it fell into Hanyuu’s hands, she immediately attacked Eua with it. Due to the attack, Eua shrunk in size.
Here, Rika and Satoko continued to fight. Satoko insisted Rika stay at the Hinamizawa and not leave the academy. She said that she had no interest in prepping for admission in St. Lucia. However, Rika argues that Satoko also joined her at the academy. Later, they all were rescued from the Hinamizawa and taken back home. The episode ended at the train station where Rika was leaving for St. Lucia. She promised Satoko that she would keep meeting him.
