She explained that her brother was chasing power and esteem in the underworld. Thus, the only way to get back to the former glory was by tying knots with another esteemed family of the cadre. While Miyuki thought that these were orthodox practices, he could not argue with Shinomiya’s stance.
Kaguya went on to share how she was living with her brothers and elders. Ever since she left Shuchin, her brother would try to brainwash her against Miyuki. Thus, another reason for Kaguya to get married was to safeguard Miyuki from her family’s wrath. Towards the end of the chapter, Kaguya explains her reasons for breaking up with Kaguya.
