By the end of the previous outing, Nine had announced that he was going to take the powers of Kaiju No 2 for himself. In fact, he also has his eyes on Number One’s sight. The biggest mystery that needs to be addressed in the next outing is how Nine survived the Bayonet Technique attack.
Kaiju No 8 Chapter 49 will showcase the most intense round of battle between Nine and Kafka. Since the kaiju resurrected before the victory was declared, the match will still be considered continued. Without a thought, he used the Squadron Style Bayonet Technique number two. Thus, Nine was knocked out.
However, no one was sure that he was eliminated entirely. Kikoru also doubted the victory. And so, the extermination work began. Just then, another Kaiju reading was detected in the radar. Nine announced that he was going to take the powers of the great Kaiju for himself. By the end of the chapter, the Kaiju No 9 appeared right behind the director-general. He looked unharmed and stronger than before.
