The 57th chapter of Kaiju No 8 opened with the lab workers learning that the third division was on its way to the HQ. This time, it was Vice-Captain Hoshina who was leading the troop. Soshiro was frustrated that the two troops would not get along well.
The chapter cut to Hoshina meeting with Captain Narumi after the longest time. Later on, Hoshino met with Soshiro. A large-scale meeting was going on in the HQ.
