The manga’s spinoff aired in September 2015 in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker. It is inspired by a live-action series. That launched on Amazon Prime on March 26 in Japan. The original manga series was launched in March 2014. Yen Press published the English dub of the manga. Now Sentai Filmworks has licensed the seasons. That will air on Netflix.
Kakegurui Twin Anime: Trailer Teases What To Expect?
Kakegurui Twin dropped its first trailer on Sunday. It reveals new cast members and the release date. It also shows the first look of the ending theme song. It’s titled “Queens Bluff” by iRis. The promo clip opens up in a school. There everything is dealt with gambling. They have to gamble to survive in school. You can become rich via gambling. But if you lose then things will turn drastic.
A couple named Tsuzara Hanatemari and Mary Saotome decided to stay together. Mary planned a way to rescue Tsuzara. But, Tsuzara repeatedly loses in gambling. So, things turn challenging for her to survive in the school. Mary maps a plan. Yet, things didn’t work as per it. Now the couple has to face the aftermath of their loss.
Kakegurui Twin Anime: Who Will Be In The Cast?
No doubt, Minami Tanaka will return as Meari Saotome. Apart from her, the newly announced cast members include Rina Honnizumi as Tsuzura Hanatemari. Yuko Kaida as Sachiko Juraku will join Yo Taichi as Yukimi Togakushi. Aoi Koga as Mikura Sado will join Seiichiro Yamashita as Aoi Mibuomi. Rie Takahashi as Sakura Miharutaki will join them as well.
MAPPA is producing the anime series. The rest of the staff members who will join the show include Yuichiro Hayashi as chief director. Kaori Makita will serve as director and Shigeru Murakoshi as series script supervisor. Manabu Nii will serve as character designer, while Shuuji Takahara Majiro as chief animation director. Iso Yokoyama and Masanobu Nomura serve as the art directors. Masahiro Hiraoka will serve as CG director and Shinnosuke Kato as compositing director of photography.
Other staff includes Mutsumi Takemiya. He will see the editing. Moreover, Akiko Fujita will see sound effects. Avex Pictures will serve as music production and Technoboys Pulcraft Green-fund will give the music to the anime series.
Kakegurui Twin Anime: Release Date
Katsura Saiki’s Kakegurui Twin Anime will air on August 4, 2022, on Netflix. The all-new episodes will drop on the same day. So you can enjoy binge-watching them on the same day.
