The last chapter secured one more victory for the champions of the Kengan Association. The victory of Tokita Ohma from the Kure Clan has not been digested by many to date. Now, another win might create havoc in the undergrounds. And this time, the victory was more or less secured with a cheat. Neither Erioh nor his grandsons had played a fair match. Instead, they all ganged up against Edward Wu and made him kneel down.
Kengan Omega Chapter 144 will look into the aftermath of this murder. Not only was Edward Wu a prominent member of his clan, but he also held a strong position in the clan. The 143rd chapter, titled “Sacrificial Pawn,” started with Erioh almost getting stabbed by Edward. However, an arm came from behind him. Edward noticed that two of Erioh’s sons had come to save the old man. Now, the fighter of the Wu Clan was fighting the three of the Kure Clan. Elsewhere, Tokita Ohma met with Muteba Gizenga. The man told him that Edward Wu was fighting with the Kure Clan. He also let him know that Erioh was not doing well in the fight.
Cut back to the fight, the grandsons of Erioh were giving them a tough fight. However, nothing seemed to match Edward Wu. The beast mocked Erioh by stating that using his sons as pawns was a pathetic move. However, when Erioh was trapped in his arms, Xing ran towards him from behind and stabbed Wu in the neck. Erioh laughed hysterically and announced that he was the sacrificial pawn, not his sons. The chapter ended with Erioh saluting Wu and stating that he was truly powerful.
