The 20th episode of Kingdom Season 3 commenced the battle between King Zheng and General Li Mu. While most of the soldiers acted in the forefront, Fu Di took his troop to the south wall in order to retake the lands of Xin. Later on, Meng Yi found that most of Li Mu’s forces were on the east wall. Thus, he sent Lord Biao’s men to guard the gates. The battle came to a halt in the evening, and the soldiers returned to get some rest.
But Lord Li Mu began attacking at midnight. Diao had anticipated and acted as such. Thus, his troops successfully neutralized the attack. While shielding the attack was a successful mission, Liao Diao ended up exhausting most of his elite men in the guard. By the end of the episode, the second day of the battle began.
