Kingdom Season 4 Episode 16: What Will Happen Next?
Lao will be surprised to learn that Xianguang knows about his relationship with Queen Dowager, and she’s bearing their child. He will have a word with Queen and want to sort things up. But she will order him to calm down and let them do whatever their forces can. It will leave Lao in a vulnerable position. Meanwhile, Ben and his army will head to defeat Chu forces. They will work on the wall to create a defensive system around them. However, he will be a little pissed off by the general’s behavior, leading him to make inappropriate decisions.
Further, Kingdom Season 4 Episode 16 is titled “The Crowning Ceremony,” hinting that the upcoming episode will focus on Lao’s ceremony. Everyone will gather to become a part of this ceremony. But Lao seems upset and have a word with Queen Dowager, who will tell him to follow the orders. However, someone will interfere in this ceremony, and things will soon turn drastic. Kingdom Season 4 Episode 15 opened up with Qin’s second promotional ceremony. Soon Colonel Wang Ben of the Yu Feng Force and Colonel Xin of the Fei Xin Force were called onto the stage. Given their slaying of Zi Bui and Ling Huang, both Fire Dragons of Wei were promoted to brigadier, commanding 5000 troops. Everyone from both the forces was happy for their new brigadier, including Diao. Soon after the promotional ceremony, both the troops deployed to the Southern Front. So they could battle with Chu forces. However, the great general wasn’t glad to learn that Ben was now the brigadier. But the general discussed with Ben the powers he would receive and things under him.
Soon, Ben recalled when Ai challenged him to become a general within five years. Ben believed that he had already stepped the first step, and soon, he would reach the general’s position. Meanwhile, Queen Dowager and Lao Ai were trying hard to keep things under their control in the Ai kingdom. But it wasn’t that easy, especially when Xiangung offered them money to strengthen their army. Lao wanted to strengthen their manpower to destroy Xiangung, but Queen believed they needed more money to do so. Time passed, and they all celebrated the New Year. Soon Lao was announced as the new King of Ai’s kingdom. He recalled his past and how he met the Queen but wanted to step back from this position. But when he tried to, he learned that Xianguang knew about their illegitimate act and child.
