The fifth episode of Kingdom Season 4, titled “Sword and Shield,” started with Liu Yi coming back to his tunnel to ask for help. Cheng Jiao had been stuck in a harsh situation. Pu Ge was the one who had resolved to take him to the King. But Pu Ge said that he did not fear even the most powerful men in the world. He also said that he would not only capture Tunliu but also take in his wife.
But the reinforcements were no help either. The horses could not come in. Thus Xin and Kyou Kai entered the castle on their own. In the final act of the episode, Xin came in and had a conversation with Zheng. Xin told him that he could never be defeated. The episode came to an end with Xin remembering the harsh memories of his past with Cheng Jiao.
