The 13th episode of Komi Can’t Communicate opens with Komi learning to do a gentle shrug over someone’s neck. Tadano was the first person she tried it on. Outside the class, Najimi the notebook telling her to write the names of all the friends that she had made so far. She gave the book to Tadano so that he could add his name to it. Back in the class, they all meet with a new boy named Makoto Katai. She was much shy like Komi and Tadano. Later on, the class gets an invitation from Nakanaka for a house get-together.
But Yamai knowingly tries to start an argument between Komi and her friends. But she was smart enough not to engage in the brawl. Afterward, the students played the video games, in which Najimi came out to be the winner. The episode concluded with Komi and Tadano writing the exam. In the midst of a paper, the two of them shared an intimate moment while exchanging stationery.
