Love All Play Season 2: Renewal Status
We have unpleasant news for the series fans. At the time of writing, Nippon Animation and OLM, the studio house behind the anime series, haven’t yet renewed the show for the second run. The first season was supposed to conclude in July 2022. So the studio house will take a few more months to decide the future of Love All Play. However, no need to fret. This is because the studio hasn’t yet canceled the show. Hence there is still hope that Love All Play Season 2 will return.
Will It Ever Return?
As mentioned above, the studio has yet to renew the show for the second run. The renewal is based on the popularity and viewership of the anime series. The show gained enough popularity throughout the first season to renew for the second run. It gained 7.4/10 positive responses on IMDb and 6.3/10 on MyAnimeList. Although many fans criticized the animation of the series, they never stopped praising the storyline of Love All Play.
Many called it light-hearted and full of inspiration. They loved the concept and are looking forward to Love All Play Season 2. Apart from this, the show’s popularity keeps growing, leading to the growth of the viewership. It also helped in increasing the novel sales. Thus the chances of Love All Play Season 2 are quite high.
Is There Enough Source Material?
Fortunately yes! As mentioned above, Love All Play is inspired by Asami Koseki’s badminton novel series. The novel series has four volumes which Poplar Publishing published between May 2011 and March 2014 under the Poplar Bunko Pureful imprint. Later Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump manga website serialized the manga adaptation in April 2022. The first season of Love All Play covered the first out of four volumes. Thus there’s room for Love All Play Season 2. So we can expect that the show will return with three more installments.
Story So Far!
Mizushima won the first match. After winning the first match, he went to see Shizuo since the next match was between them. However, he learned about Shizuo’s leg injury on the court. He was startled to see him injured. But left shocked when his coach asked him to take full advantage of his injury. Meanwhile, despite all the odds, Shizuo encouraged him to play the match. Mizushima later realized that he couldn’t take a step back and decided to give Shizuo a tough fight.

Now the team will work hard for the national tournament. They will undoubtedly win the inter-high competition and work hard for their national match. Love All Play Season 2: Release Date
As of now, Nippon Animation and OLM have yet to renew the anime series for the second run. But deeming its popularity, we can expect that the studio will soon announce Love All Play Season 2.
