Love Live Superstar aired back in 2021, and it follows the first students who arrived at Yuigaoka Girls’ High School. It is built on the crossroads of Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama. The school is starting from scratch when the five girls led by Kanon Shibuya learn about the school idols. So they accumulated to learn more about the idols and started School Idol Project.

Finally, Love Live Superstar Season 2 dropped its first trailer. It sheds light on some new characters who will join the show. Further, the second season will continue to delve into the idol group Liella’s journey to become superstars. But this time, there will be some newfound members who will join the group. They will navigate their school life while working on their passion.
Love Live Superstar Season 2: Who Will Be In The Cast?
The second season will see some new faces. Recently, the trailer dropped some new characters that will play a major part in the second run. Nozomi Suzuhara as Kinako Sakurakoji will join the show. She will enroll in Yuigaoka after watching Liella’s performance. She thinks she’s average to live an ideal idol lifestyle. But she has an affinity for animals. Akane Yabushima will join as Mei Yoneme. She’s a self-conscious girl who thinks is unsuited to being a school idol. This is because of her hostile nature.
Wakana Okuma will join as Shiki Wakana. She’s a leader of the science club and a person with a scientifically-minded girl. She likes to sing but normally stays away from people. Aya Emori will join as Natsumi Onitsuka, a popular L-Tuber. She decides to give a school idol a try. She plans her next step to make Liella more popular while drinking smoothies.
Apart from them, the main members will also return for the second run. These include Sayuri Date as Kanon Shibuya and Nako Misaki as Chisato Arashi. Liyuu as Tang Keke will also join. Nagisa Aoyama as Ren Hazuki and Naomi Payton as Sumire Heanna will also join the show. Other returning staff includes Jukki Hanada as a series composer and Takahiro Kyougoku as director. Reiji Kasuga as art director and Atsushi Saitou as character designer will also join. Rie Katou as a color designer will join Tadashi Kitaoka as photography director. Yuuki Iinuma as CG director and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer will also join.

Love Live Superstar Season 2: Release Date
