The upcoming episode of Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Part 2 is titled “Separate Journeys.” The title is suggestive of yet another farewell. After parting from Paul, Rudues is heading back towards the Doldia Village to get Eris to her home. They are taking her back home because Rudues does not want to put the little girl in any more danger. Moreover, as he has changed his plans, he does not wish to drag Eris around with them.
So, in Mushoku Tensei Episode 18, Eris will bid her farewell to Rudeus and his team. Now, she will be heading towards her personal mission. Later, Rudeus will also begin his mission. Reuniting with Paul made him believe that he can eventually even the differences with his family. Thus, the boy will commence his mission by locating his mother first. Later, the clues will take him to the rest of the members also.

In the 17th episode of Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Part 2, fans saw Paul’s side amid the chaos. Geese went to Paul and said that he should sort their differences with Rudeus. Later that night, Paul had a nightmare. Thus, he decided that he would quit drinking. In the morning, Paul visited Rudeus and apologized for his actions. Rudeus also forgave him and promised to stay by his side. Later on, he told Paul that he would be taking Eris back to her home.
After getting her to safety, he will begin the mission to find the rest of his family. By the end of the episode, Rudeus bid his farewell to Paul. Then, his crew and Eris went back to the village where they came from. After they left, Geese told Paul that Rudeus would be looking for his family. Paul was left with tears as he was not expecting such generosity from his son.
