Mushoku Tensei Episode 24 is next in line for a release this week. After three months of wait, the unaired special is finally getting a release window. First screened at the stage event for Toho Cinemas Hibiya, episode 24 is in fact an OVA. This single-stretched episode will feature Eris in the lead. So, what will happen in the episode? The final entry in the debut season of Mushoku Tensei turned out to be a special OVA. Fans are looking around to know where the anime would release. The 24th edition would deal with Eris’ Goblin Subjugation arc which takes place in the Juvenile Period Reunion Chapter. This was the time when she first killed a human in her life.
Mushoku Tensei Episode 24: What Will Happen Next?
As per the leaks that are out till now, the title of the upcoming unaired episode is “Eris’s Goblin Subjugation.” The penultimate episode showed Rudeus and Iris parting ways. Whereas, the finale shows us the leads’ side. Now, this OVA will give us a glimpse of Eris’ journey with Ghislaine. This storyline is taken up from the Fifth Volume of the manga (Juvenile Period Reunion Chapter).
Accompanied by Cliff, Eris went on to subjugate goblins all by herself. But on the journey, she realized that Cliff was no better than Rudeus. This will be the first time that she will ever kill a human being. Towards the end of Mushoku Tensei Episode 24, Eris will reunite with Rudeus after he had the most intense battle with his father.

It has been months since Mushoku Tensei Episode 23 aired on Crunchyroll. After Eris left Rudeus on his own, he went into a state of depression. It turned out from the letter that she had left with Ghislaine so that she could become strong enough and fight Orsted when the time came. Meanwhile, Rudeus found that a beast was bothering a bunch of kids in the jungle. And so, he went ahead and offered them help. Time went by and these kids, Zanoba and Tona remembered Rudeus as the man who saved their lives.
On the other side, Roxy met with Kishirika. The latter lent her Demon Eyes for her to look in other worlds only to find that Rudeus had managed to send Aisha and Lilia to their father. And the mother, Zenith was stuck in the Labyrinth City of Rapan in the Begaritt Continent. Thus, this mission finally begins. Lastly, Sylphie was in talks with a group of goons to persuade them to take Rudeus into their group.
Mushoku Tensei Episode 24: Release Date
The latest MT OVA will not be releasing in the conventional format on any streaming platform. Instead, it will release as part of Volume 3 of the Blu-ray DVD. The release of Mushoku Tensei Episode 24 is Japan exclusive. Thus, fans will have to wait for a bit longer until the episode gets launched in the west.
