There is a wonderful piece of news for all the fans who loved and adored the story of Sono Bisque Doll. So, in the most recent update, Studio CloverWorks and the producers of the anime ended up confirming the release of My Dress-Up Darling Season 2. Along with this, a brand-new teaser poster was also released in the public domain. So, here is all you need to know about this update.
My Dress-up Darling is an original manga written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. The text first came out in the year 2018. Three years later, Studio CloverWorks took up the story to make an anime adaption. After the huge success, the second season seems to be the most sought-after sequel.

The news comes from the official website of the anime of the same name. The announcement comes along with an illustration featuring Marin and Gojo. The featurette was created by the artist of the manga. Adding to this, the artist also shared his personal thoughts on the renewal of the series. He wrote that “I am very happy. Thank you. Cast & Staff Updates!
As of the time of writing, newer cast and staff updates are yet to be finalized. But the rest of the cast members would be the same. So, the list includes Hina Suguta as Marin Kitagawa. Along with her, Shouya Ishige is playing the role of Gojo Wakana. At last, Atsumi Tanezaki will play the character of Sajuna Inui, and Hima Youmiya will take up the role of Shinju Inui.
As for the staff of the show, Keisuke Shinohara will be coming back as the director of the series. Same as the first season, Yoriko Tomita is the scriptwriter. Moreover, Akiko Fujita is the sound director for the show. All of this work will take place on the premises of Studio CloverWorks.
My Dress-Up Darling Season 2: Release Date
As of the time of writing, the final release date of the new season has not been announced. The sequel only got a renewal update from the producers.
