My Hero Academia Chapter 344: Plot Details!
My Hero Academia Chapter 344 begins with a flashback back at the student’s dormitory. All Might discusses AFO’s inferior nature. He tells his comrades that AFO will not come out himself, and the heroes would have to lure him out for a trap. And in this way, Aizawa’s plan pops up, which is quite similar to All Might’s. Tsukauchi chimes in and speak of AFO’s quirk of Search, which will easily determine Deku’s location. To which All Might assures that the heroes will take this as an advantage and Aoyama will take Deku to a faraway place.
Finally, Aizawa’s plan falls into place. AFO can also identify when someone’s lying. Hence, Shinso offers his help. Eraserhead’s student concludes that he can manipulate Aoyama’s parent’s voice without any trail left behind. Later, the scene shifts to the central hospital in Monoma, Vlad, Aizawa, and Kurogiri’s presence. The heroes share a moment where Vlad reassures the student and states that he will shine just like his quirk in the battle. At the same time, Aizawa shares his belief of not amounting to much in the battle since he has lost one eye.
However, Monoma praises his skills in the Jaku fight, due to which everyone survived. Finally, the present time comes into view where the heroes and villains both face each other. Dabi does not miss a second and greets his father with his fire attack. However, Todoroki appears and dodges it with his ice wall. All Might’s plan takes another step, and a metallic wall begins to form around the villains. AFO slowly begins to put the pieces together and realizes All Might’s intent to separate the villains.

The high-rated 344th chapter found AFO and his plan as the main focus. He discusses how he has a stolen quirk that allows him to know when someone is lying. He later dials Aoyama’s mother and asks her to fetch him a 40-year-old Macallan. The lady responds with Aoyama personally delivering it to his uncle. Once the call ends, AFo concludes that no lies were said to him. The scene shifts to Aoyama calling Deku at a strange faraway place. While Deku seems confused, Aoyama speaks of AFO’s plan in detail. The student begins how AFO wishes to take advantage of Japan’s economy and send it to the ruins.
AFO desires to destruct Japan’s yen and later help the country with its hundred of stolen quirks. The villain will generate water, gas, electricity, and strength and provide it to the people as the “world’s arbitrator.” Deku assures that the people will never let such a thing take place and that day will never come as the heroes are still alive. Soon AFO appears behind Aoyama and praises him for betraying his friend once again. However, the tables have turned as it was a trap to lure AFO out of his hideout. The villain begins to come out of dark portals. My Hero Academia Chapter 344 reaches its final panel when heroes come out of portals. The scene depicts that Monoma copied Kurogiri’s quirk and formed his own portals.
