The Anime is based on the light novel series by Shinkoshoto. The light novels started serializing in October 2017 online on Shosetsuka ni Naro. Soon after that, SB Creative published the first issue under their GA Novel imprint in 2018. As of now, the light novel series has released ten volumes. In addition, a manga adaptation of the series by Ponjea began releasing on the Manga Up! website in September 2018. As of August 2021, the manga completed thirteen issues. An anime adaptation is set to release in 2022.
My Isekai Life Anime: New Trailer Out!
The official website of My Isekai Life Anime has finally dropped a trailer to promote the fantasy anime. The new trailer showed how the protagonist, Yuji wakes up in a new mysterious world. In addition, it showed how he trains to become a powerful sage. Additionally, the website revealed new visuals featuring Yuji and some blue slime, who later help him become a sage. Furthermore, the announcement also unveiled the staff and additional cast members.
The additional cast members are Hikaru Tohno, playing the role of the slime Sura. Mai Kanno will play another slime, Surapacchi. Lastly, Haruna Mikawa will play the slime Mayusawa. Furthermore, Keisuke Kojima is directing the adventure anime at REVOROOT Studio. In addition to being the director, he will also work on the character designs for the show. Joining him as the assistant director is Kiyotaka Suzuki. Lastly, Naohiro Fukushima will work on series composition.
What Is The Plot?
My Isekai Life anime draws its story from the light novel and manga series of the same name. The story is an adventure set in a mysterious fantasy world. The story follows Yuji, an overworked adult who gets transported into the fantasy world. When working on his computer, he receives a notification inviting him to another world. However, he ignores the message and goes back to his work. Yet, as soon as the timer on the message runs out, he gets transported to a whole new world.
After that, he wakes up in the game-like world with a blue-colored slime next to him. He becomes a ‘tamer’ after taming the slime. Then he sets to explore the strange world. Soon he goes to a library to kill time. There he finds more slime and tames them to read books for him. This unlocks many new magic skills within him. Thus, he then attains his second profession as a ‘sage’. So, with the help of the slime and his new skills, he sets to become the most powerful sage. The rest of the story follows his transformation from a tamer to a powerful sage.

My Isekai Life Anime: Release Date
Unfortunately, as of now, there has been no announcement regarding a concrete release date for the show. However, in September 2021, the official website of the anime has confirmed a 2022 premiere. It takes at least eight to twelve months to produce a single cour anime. Therefore, fans can expect the My Isekai Life anime to release during the Fall season.
