He told him that he had no intention of using their friendship to get to Yume. During fitness exams, Akatsuki Minami did well at sports, but Yume fainted while trying to keep up with Akatsuki. However, Mizuto caught him. Yume asked Akatsuki to hide the fact that Yume wasn’t good at sports. Meanwhile, Akatsuki suspected that Mizuto was trying to be nicer. Soon Yume fell ill, and Akatsuki decided to visit her.
A delirious Yume rudely treated Mizuto and Akatsuki saw it. Akatsuki quickly presumed that Mizuto had a girlfriend, and now he was living with his stepsister. She also asked Mizuto whether he and Yume treated each other like siblings. But he refused it. However, Yume only fell asleep when he held her hand. They used to do it when they were dating. Later Mizuto demanded she checks her temperature again. She recovered but decided to fake being ill so that Mizuto could take care of her.
