Amid these celebrations, the anime industry of Japan faced many delays and rescheduling in release slates. Now, NHK is once again rearranging its release slot for the coming Tokyo Paralympics events. The network took to its official Twitter account to announce that many anime series will face delay in light of the upcoming games. So far, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2 and Love Live! Superstar!! anime will face delay in releases. So, here is all you need to know about the new NHK schedule.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2

The much-anticipated Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2 debuted at the screens back in April this year. Since then a total of nineteen episodes have released and the audience was expecting to watch Episode 20 this weeked. The episode was originally slated to release this Saturday on August 28, 2021. But now the episode will air on September 4, 2021. As usual, the episode will release on Crunchyroll and other prime NHK Japanese television networks.

Love Live! Superstar!!

The newest edition of the Love Live franchise, Love Live! Superstar!! created a lot of buzz after its release. As of now, only a few episodes have come out and Episode 6 was supposed to release on the upcoming Saturday. The anime faced delay during the Olympics as well. Hence, the new episode will also get rescheduled in light of the Paralympics. It was originally slated to release on August 28, 2021. Now, the next episode of Love Live! Superstar!! will premiere on September 5, 2021. Lastly, the episode will release on Crunchyroll.

Other NHK Delays

NHK has also made clear that many of it’s prime time shows can see a rescheduling in the coming weeks. The solid dates have not been confirmed by the network just yet. But the potential shows in the list are Butt Detective, Nintama Rantaro, and Uchuu Nanchara Kotetsu-kun. The statement on the official website suggests that the delays will be confirmed as the matches progress in Paralympic 2020.
