The chapter opens with Yuka telling Hiyori that a strange man had told her in the street that her life was in danger. Just then, The Stray arrived at their house. Yuka then reveals that the box had all the letters that she had been saving for all those years.
But the memory of it all made her cry. Yuka tells her that she understands that Hiyori is not in the world anymore. Just then, the crack in his Kanji got deeper and he was suddenly paralyzed. His father took all the letters and spread them around his dead body. Towards the end of the chapter, Yukine was released from his vessel form, shocking the Father. The chapter came to an end with the death of Yukine.
