Weekly Shonen Jump

The Wano Kuni Arc is one of the most anticipated plots of the One Piece manga. Since the beginning of the act, fans have been desperate to know how things will turn out for all the characters. All the pirate groups, including the Ninja Pirates, the Mink pirates, and the Samurais, are gathered in the same land. Hence, the conclusion of each character arc is an abode subject. Recently, the mangaka and the editors at Shonen Jump teased that the Wano Kuni Arc might reach the end before one can expect it. So, is the arc finally ending? What will be the conclusion? Here is all you need to know about it.

In 2018, the One Piece manga entered one of its most awaited arcs called The Wano Country (Kuni) Arc. The 909th chapter inaugurated the War arc of the story. This was the thirty firsts act of the manga. Moreover, Wano Kuni is the fourth part of the Four Emperors Saga. Preceded by the Levely Arc, Wano Kuni tells the story of one of the greatest wars in the oceans. The Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance come together to end the wrath of Kaido in the Wano Country and also take down the Beasts Pirates.

One Piece Manga: The Story So Far!

The story of the One Piece manga is in the midst of its most crucial arc. So far, the manga has serialized 1023 chapters, and the Wano Kuni arc is on the verge of its conclusion. Currently, all the members of the Straw Hats alliance are inside the castle of Onigashima. Most of the teammates have also infiltrated the lands of Onigashima. Sanji and Zoro have successfully taken down Queen and King. Now, only the battle between Kaido and Luffy is awaited. In the upcoming chapters, Sanji will reveal the secret about his powers. He will tell the King and Queen how he was able to defeat the monsters with mere human powers.

Moreover, Jack and Inurashi will commence their fight in the coming chapters. The Perospero vs. Nakomamushi and Raizou vs. Fukurokuju battles will also commence in the upcoming editions. After all the side battles come to a conclusion, the chapters will focus on the ultimate Kaido Vs. Luffy showdown. Thus, with the conclusion of this battle, the Wano Kuni Arc of the One Piece manga will also come to a halt.

When Will The Arc End?

Coming Weekend, the One Piece manga will release its 100th volume. On this commemoratory occasion, the editors at Shonen Jump released public statements voicing their happiness on this occasion. Yuuji Iwasaki, editor of One Piece at Weekly Shonen Jump, stated that he is extremely excited about the conclusion of the Wano Kuni Arc. Moreover, the editor also revealed that the story is moving faster than they expected. Thus, the end of the might arrive even before anyone expected.

The editor confirmed that the end of the Wano Kuni arc is “around the corner.” And in the end, all will remember to move forward. The popular belief is that the end of Kaido will mark the end of this arc of One Piece. When Luffy and Kaido’s final battle commences, the Wano Kuni arc will also enter its final stages. But the plans for the manga keep changing. In an interview last year, editor Yuuji revealed that the One Piece manga has adapted to a trial-and-error process of storytelling.

Hence, this means that if something does not work in the long run, the makers tend to change it. Thus, there is still a wide range of possibilities as to when the arc might come to an end. Stay tuned for more updates.
