Now in the 140th chapter, Grid, Jude, and Lifaeli will head to see Piero. Grid will be surprised to see Piero living a normal life. He believes that Piero is a legend and the Reidan empire should acknowledge him, but instead, they put him in a farmhouse. However, Lifaeli revealed that it was Piero’s decision and he wanted to live there. After hearing this, Grid decides to check on him.
Piero will be meditating, and Grid’s arrival will disturb him. Despite this, he will be more surprised that Grid returns so early. He’s looking forward for him to achieving great heights. But Grid will reveal about Darkuus, and it will make Piero concerned about the empire. But Piero will first refuse to join them; however, after Grid’s plea, he will decide to help them form a formation to learn more about Darkuus, and instead of fighting alone, they need to team up to defeat Darkuus and his black magic.

Previously in Overgeared Chapter 139, Mr. Grid started chasing Darkuus, but he used his dark magic and called Asmopel to take down Mr. Grid. But he wasn’t afraid of Asmopel and decided to chase Darkuus, leaving Darkuus petrified. Scared, Darkuus summoned the cursed doll to fight with Grid. But Grid wasn’t afraid of it and used all his strength to fight back. Two weeks later, a young practitioner talked about his pain in the farmhouse. He was trying hard to earn money for Isabella-chan to do something for her good health.
He knew her father was greedy and whatever he would do seem a penny to him. But still, he wanted to help Isabella-chan.
