In the ninth episode of Platinum End, Sakotani Hajime made his first appearance in the story. It was revealed that Hajime was also fed up with being bullied. As he was about to take his life, angel Balta saved his life. With the help of the red arrow, the angel made his face prettier. But when he learned about Metropoliman, he decided that he was going to join the hero. Thus, he wanted to become his serving slave.
On the other side, the other three contestants went to the church. There, Mukaido finally handed over the armor suit to Saki. Just then, Mukaido’s red arrow came flying to him. He realized that the Metropoliman must have used the arrow to kill someone. Thus, all of them suited up for action. When they went outside, Hajime stood with a grim smirk. By the end of the episode, Metropoliman called Mukaido and mocked him to get to his family as soon as possible.
