What Is The Movie All About?
The film of Psycho-Pass anime focuses on Akane Tsunemori and her Bureau’s Criminal Investigation group. They fight to protect Japan against foreign terrorists who have infiltrated Japan. At the same time, they will recover their former colleague Shinya Kogami’s images. During their investigation, they learn that the terrorists originated from a superstate Southeast Asia Union. It has started to import Japanese Sibyl System technology to arrest the criminals.
In order to find more clues, Akane gets permission to travel to that superstate. There she meets with Colonel Nicholas Wong. He tells her about their guns called Dominators and the lack of resources. It becomes difficult for them to deal with latent criminals. So they need more manpower. Now the Psycho-Pass New Movie will focus on Akane’s struggle and how she will help them.

As per the report, Psycho-Pass: Providence is currently in the making phase. So it won’t take much time to return to the big screen. The animation typically takes ten to twelve months to wrap up.
