Neither the makers nor the staff members of the series have revealed anything about the return. But, the overall reception of the series has been fair enough this season. IMDb rates the series 7.2 stars out of 10. As for MyAnimeList, thirteen-thousand users have rated the series 7.64 out of 10.
This suggests that the series has performed decently in terms of reception. Even so, the production technicalities and contract-based works might delay the renewal process in the face of a timely renewal.
Is There Enough Source Material?
Restaurant To Another World, better known as Isekai Shokudo, adapts the plot from the light novel series of the same name. So far, the LN has only come out with six bundled volumes, of which the sixth one only came out in the month of October 2021. With this, the second season released its final episodes in the month of December. According to the adaptation order, the last two episodes ended up using material from the sixth volume.
This suggests that there is a short cap between the source material and anime adaptation. Thus, it is safe to say that the makers might wait for some time until the novel releases two volumes at the least. At the moment, it can be said that there is not enough source material to adapt for a full season.

Restaurant To Another World Season 3 will be a tough release for Studio OLM due to the scarcity of the source material. For one year at the least, the studio might have to take a break from animation work. Thus, when the volumes are finally out, the work is expected to commence immediately after.
