Scarlet Nexus is making a grand return as an anime adaptation! The upcoming “brainpunk” action RPG has already become a household name around the globe. However, it will soon reach new levels of popularity once the Scarlet Nexus anime series comes out. Well, the critically renowned animation studio Sunrise will be handling the production of the television series. Hence, we can expect this journey to be even more interesting.
The much-awaited anime series is licensed by Funimation for countries outside of Asia. Bandai Namco Entertainment has already released a teaser trailer back in March 2021. Whereas, Funimation recently released a new trailer for the upcoming show. The platform also gave away some keen details of the upcoming show. This includes the official synopsis, cast details alongside the latest character art style. Fans were eagerly anticipating the release of the Scarlet Nexus video game. Scarlet Nexus Anime: Synopsis
Back in March, the news of Scarlet Nexus anime was made public. Ever since then, fans were waiting for the first look at the show. It’s finally out now, and it doesn’t disappoint. The official synopsis of the show describes the plot set in the Solar calendar year 2020. Grotesque organisms known as the Others are taking over humans and scavenging upon them. In order to take down these new enemies, the Other Suppression Force is conjured by a team of saviors. The first person that this team saves is an elite child who is psychokinetic. Yuito withstands all the training to join this group. On the flip side, a child prodigy Kasane is joined for her abilities. But Kasane’s dreams tell her a different story altogether. What fate has for the two of them, we will only find out when the Scarlet Nexus is out.
Who Will Be In The Cast?
Asami Seto and Junya Enoki are cast to play the roles of main characters Kasane Randall and Yuito Sumeragi, respectively. Joining the two are Yuri Horie as Arashi Spring, Rota Takeuchi as Gemma Garrison, and Yomomi Mineuchi as Hanabi Ichiro. Moreover, we can expect to see Daisuke Namikawa in the role of Kagero Donne along with Yumi Hara as the character of Kyoka Eden. Additionally, Chinatsu Akasaki is voicing Luka Travers, Kengo Kawanishi is doing Shiden Ritter and Marika Kohno as Tsugumi Nazar.
Scarlet Nexus Anime: Release Date
While the highly-anticipated Bandai Namco video game will be out on June 25, 2021, its anime adaptation will only arrive a week later. Hence, the official release date of the Scarlet Nexus anime series in Japan is July 1, 2021. However, sadly, the TV series might take a while to premiere in countries outside of Japan. Well, since Funimation is in charge to stream the anime internationally, we can expect it to release soon after that. We promise to update this section as soon as the exact date comes out.
