The 25th episode of Scarlet Nexus began with a fight between Karen and Yuito. The former tried to impersonate Yuito in battle. However, Fubuki countered all her attacks. She warned her that all her tantrums are in going to go in vain. But both Yuito and Karen lost consciousness after trying to access the psionic powers. As they wake up in the hospital room, Karen and Fubuki discuss the ascendence of the Kunad Gate. Fubuki told Yuito that they would need his gravikinesis powers.
Later on, Karen and the team reach the Kunad Gate and analyze the situation. They successfully manage to get the Kunad Gate to eat away the extinction belt. However, the process heavily exhausted Yuito. Even before seeing the blue sky, he lost consciousness. Towards the end of the episode, the Kunad Gate had disintegrated, and the sun was shining once again.
