The 117th chapter of Owari No Seraph was titled “Of Monsters and Demons.” The chapter started with a past sequence where Ashera had met with Krul. The arena was a place where bodies were lurking around them all over. Back in the present, Guren fights with Yu, who is trying to get his hands on Asuramaru. Yu was fixated on saving Krul at all costs. But the latter was only capable of saving Mika.
Later on, as he was transported, Asuramaru talked to Shikama Doji that all he was capable of doing now was letting Yu eat him up. The final act of the chapter saw that Asuramaru tells Yu that Mika will not be the one saving him. This was because he wanted to die anyways. In the end, the fight began once again because Yu did not want to give up any cost.
