Back in the present, the Great Axe Sage rejected Kim’s plea to become her disciple. This was because, as per the rules of the cult, only the children abandoned by the world are allowed to become a part of the team.
But Kim had an equal argument that proved that he was abandoned by the world as well. When Bachyang could not argue otherwise, she decided that she would at least see the powers that the man possessed. Thus, she asked him to perform the Tri-Sword attack. After one of the most stunning visuals from the chapter, Kim was selected to become a part of the cult. Towards the end of the chapter, the Sword Emperor said that he was proud of Kim for coming this far away.
