Strike the Blood Final Anime is all set to reach its fans. After heavy demand and requests, the fans finally have the anime adaptation of the project. The fifth OVA season will have four episodes. It is based on a sci-fi fantasy light novel series focusing on Kojou and Yukina. The project has had one anime series and five OVA series since 2013. And finally, the series has come to an end. Gakuto Mikumo and Manyako have worked on 22 main volumes and two side stories of the harem novel series to date. The makers have revealed a visual for the finale. A trailer is also out. It features Yukina, an agent, and Kojou, who might be the “fourth true ancestor.” This vampire series goes deeper as the story progresses. A lot is in the stack for the final episodes.

The final OVA season will follow the story of the Fourth Progenitor. The final four episodes will adapt “Akatsuki no Gaisen” (The Return of Akatsuki). It will be based on the novel’s 22nd volume. In the show, Kojou Akatsuki gains the powers of a strong vampire after a strange encounter. This doesn’t take too long as now he is also suspected to be the legendary vampire. In fear of Kojou’s abilities, the Lion King Organization sends off an agent to monitor him. This is when another important character, Yukina, enters the story. The duo form an unlikely friendship as Kojou learns to control his powers.

Cast & Staff Updates
All the cast members of the last installment will be reprising their roles. This includes Yoshimasa Hosoya as Kojou Akatsuki and Risa Taneda as Yukina as the main characters. Also, Asami Seto and Saori Oonishi as Asagi Aiba and La Folia Rihavein, respectively. Fans will also find Ryouta Oosaka as Motoki. The staff is also returning for the final season. The anime is a work under Studio Connect. Hideyo Yamamoto will be directing it once again. Hideki Furukawa will be joining Keiichi Sano for the role of the character designer. Lastly, Hiroyuki Yoshino is the scriptwriter.

Now that the dates are out, fans are to wait just a little longer. The fifth and final season will have the first volume, including “Akatsuki no Gaisen I” and “Akatsuki no Gaisen II,” released in Japan on March 30, 2022. The second volume including “Akatsuki no Gaisen III” and “Akatsuki no Gaisen IV” will continue on June 29, 2022. In addition, a Blu-Ray disc and DVD will be available for the fans.
