The Super Crooks franchise originally began as a comic book series by Mark Millar. The action fantasy story deals with a group of mutants who form a team to carry out the smartest heists in the world. Now, Netflix is re-creating this on-paper story in an anime format. Studio Bones is responsible for the animation and the production of the series.

According to the official synopsis by Marvel, the story of Super Crooks Anime revolves around the lives of supervillains who are willing to leave the profession of delinquency and live normal lives. However, in greed of the one last heist, the team reunites at their former base. Jonny Bolt is the one who convinces the team to follow him in the one last heist of their lives. However, everything turns upside down when the robbery sparks a chain reaction of events that can put all the villains back behind bars.

The story of Super Crooks is filled with drama, cunning robbery plans, and action. The latest trailer by Netflix masterfully outlines the story of the upcoming series. The trailer displays Jonny Bolt summoning his team once again for the riskiest heist of their lives. The description box of the trailer video also gives away the cast details and the release date of the series.

Cast & Crew Updates

In a recent update, Netflix has revealed the English cast of the new anime. So, the new dubbing team includes Jonah Scott in the role of Johnny Bolt. Along with him, Abby Trott is playing Kasey Ann. Moreover, Jason Marnocha will be seen as The Bastard. Doug Stone and Beau Billingslea will be seen as Carmine and The Gladiator. Lastly, Bill Butts and Bill Rogers will be seen as Josh The Ghost and TK McCabe.

The staff of Super Crooks Anime includes Motonobu Hori as the director of the series. The writers’ room is being headed by Dai Sato. Moreover, Takafumi Mitani is credited as the character designer of the series. Lastly, Stanislas Brunet is the concept designer of the series. This able team is working at Studio Bones to culminate a brilliant series.

Super Crooks Anime: Release Date

The release date of the new fantasy story was announced a month ago through an official update. The new trailer has stamped the pre-determined date to be unchanged. So, Super Crooks Anime will release next month on November 25, 2021. The series will release on Netflix. New episodes will release on a weekly basis.
