Sword Art Online is initially a Japanese novel. The writer of this Japanese novel is Reki Kawahara. Later, the creators decided to bring an anime TV series of the same name. The first season of the series launched in 2012 which turned out a great success. Soon, after the release of its first season, the Franchise SAO released its first film in 2013. After which franchise never failed to give back to back hits.
Now, all of us are looking to Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Anime Part 2 on July 11. Its premiere was supposed to be on April 25, in Japan but it got delayed due to COVID-19 situation. Now, as the things are moving towards betterment, the SAO Franchise has not only decided to release new season but will also telecast its new season on various other platforms.
The Sword Art Online, through its official twitter account, announces the availability of its future project on several platforms. It is stated that Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld last season will be available on Hulu, Crunchyroll, Hidive and Funimation.
The Sword Art fans are anxiously waiting for the release of the new season and are happy to have their favourite anime on various streaming sites. On the other hand, they are disheartened over the news that it will be the last part of the series. Sword Art Online: Alicization was the first part of this series, and its premiere was taken place in 2018. Later on the second part was released in 2019 and ran successfully between Octobers to December of 2019.
The plot of SAO revolves around its two main protagonists Krito and Asuna Yuki. The story begins in 2022 when a virtual action-adventure game Sword Art Online comes in the market. The game with some terms and conditions such as, the player cannot leave the game without defeating all 100 floors of Aincrad, which is a castle in the game. If the player dies in-game or leave it without completing it, he will eventually die in real.
Krito also tries that game in which, he meets a girl named Asuna Yuki. Later both of them discover the leader of this game and defeat him to free themselves and other players.
