Previous Episode Recap!
The last week’s episode opens with Jean Jacques grabbing Chloe and hugging her. He tells her there is no point in his life if she is not in it. Meanwhile, Vanitas finally gets his grimoire and uses it to reverse the curse. However, he learns that he cannot do much due to the severity of the curse. The curse traps the bearer in an endless loop that will destroy their soul. As a result, only the curse will lift if the bearers allow it. Vanitas tells this to Chloe, who panics and gets locked in her misery.
However, Jeanne and Jean Jacques try to pull her out. Chloe then steps out of her cage and embraces her friends. Vanitas opens his book and lifts the curse. He learns the true name of Chloe, ‘Snow Flower’, and smiles that it suits her. He also lifts the curse from Jean Jacques, making him normal again. The castle crumbles, and snow flowers bloom surrounding them. Noe defeats Astolfo, who has a meltdown. He cries and begs Roland to help him. Jeanne thanks Vanitas for his help and reminds him about his promise to her. The episode ends with Vanitas looking at his hand and thinking that the blue web-like pattern is spreading.
